Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

Are you a Quality Technician ready for your next challenge or do you have experience in production and are looking for a Quality Technician role? What will you be doing as a Manufacturing Quality Technician?

As a Manufacturing Quality Technician, you will understand and accurately follow standard operating procedures.

  • Complete checks/inspections to the highest
  • quality standard.
  • Support the production team by maintaining throughput, safety and quality standards
  • Work towards being fully trained and competent to obtain a complete knowledge of the product and process.
  • Identify non-conformances, utilising knowledge of the product and QC/PDI process, seeking relevant support from other functions when needed.

What are we looking for in a Manufacturing Quality Technician?

  • The ability to learn and pick up information.
  • Energy, drive, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to understand Engineering drawings and bills of materials.
  • Ability to commit to a flexible schedule & work a shift pattern when required.
  • Computer literate
  • Good communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Team player
  • Problem-solving.

Desirable

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Automotive or marine experience.
  • Experience with hand tools, lift assists and other similar equipment.
  • Driving license and own car – due to the location of the premises.
