We’re seeking a hands-on, commercially aware Operations Assistant to support their Operations Director and develop into a future Operations Manager.
As Operations Assistant, your role is to assist the Operations Director carrying out site visits, producing accurate surveys, costings, and quotes. You’ll be the calm and capable presence ensuring the team can continue to deliver with speed, empathy, and attention to detail.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a fundamental understanding of domestic plumbing & internal conversion works who’s looking to step into a more commercial role and progress with a values-led company.
- Attending client sites to carry out technical surveys and assessments
- Producing accurate costings and quotes based on your findings
- Liaising with clients – including private individuals, care homes, and local authorities – with warmth and professionalism
- Supporting the Operations Director and Contracts Team with project coordination and delivery oversight
- Maintaining high standards of compliance, health and safety, and quality alongside the Contracts team.
- Helping to identify commercial opportunities and efficiencies as you grow in the role
- An excellent ability to learn with good logistics and people skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commercial mindset
- Excellent people skills – you’re warm, personable, and confident dealing with clients
- A full clean UK driving license and access to your own vehicle (company car provided after probation)
- A desire to learn, grow, and eventually step into an Operations Manager role
