9-Month Contract

Corporate & Philanthropy Fundraising Lead       Brighton     £35,000 to £40,000 pro rata FTC 9 Months

If you’re the kind of person who sees a blank page and gets excited rather than daunted, who loves building an income stream from nothing and proving it works then this might be the role you’ve been waiting for.

We’re working on behalf of a well-regarded charity, backed by the contacts, credibility and infrastructure of an established commercial business. Together, they’re looking for a true Corporate & Philanthropy Fundraising Lead. Not someone to manage an existing programme, but someone to build one from scratch.

There’s no legacy process to inherit and no committee to slow you down. Many corporate conversations are already warm and waiting for you. You’ll decide what works, test it, and scale it and with real backing behind you the whole way.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll take full responsibility for building income generation from the ground up, including:

  • Corporate partnerships, sponsorship, employee engagement, payroll giving and peer to peer fundraising
  • Individual and philanthropic giving, including identifying and cultivating high net worth donors and ambassadors.
  • Trust, foundation and statutory funding support
  • Fundraising strategy, insight and CRM
  • Supporter stewardship and engagement

If it generates income for the cause, you’re the one building it from first conversation to signed partnership.

Someone with…

  • A proven track record in corporate, philanthropic or individual giving fundraising
  • The confidence to build something new rather than maintain something existing.
  • Strong relationship building instincts, equally at home in a boardroom or a one to one with a donor.
  • Commercial acumen and a genuine appetite for hitting income targets.
  • Self motivation and comfort with ambiguity
  • Confident use of CRM systems and a methodical approach to reporting and compliance

We’d love to meet people who have been:

  • Corporate or philanthropy fundraisers ready to lead their own programme.
  • Business development or partnerships professionals with a mission driven streak
  • Major gifts or individual giving specialists looking for more autonomy.
  • Fundraising generalists used to wearing multiple hats in a small, fast-moving team.

  • £35,000 to £40,000 pro rata
  • Potential for the role to become permanent
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the Brighton office, 2 from home
  • 22 days holiday pro rata
  • A genuinely supportive, people-led culture where innovation is welcomed and wellbeing is prioritised
  • Company events, company pension, and free on-site parking
  • The chance to build a fundraising programme from scracth within a fast-scaling, innovative business that cares about its people, its clients, and its impact

If you want to build a fundraising programme from scratch with real autonomy and real backing, this is your chance to shape it from the first page.
