Data Administrator     Brighton     £30,000

If you’re excited by complex data, motivated by detail, and looking for a role where your judgement genuinely matters, this is your next step.

This isn’t a typical data job and it’s not a standard admin role either. It’s a rare blend of analytical depth, data collection, and amazing Excel skills inside an award winning, people first, B Corp certified organisation.

You’ll work with large scale, often messy datasets (sometimes millions of data points), extracting, collating and uploading this onto portals and supporting the Data team and and company through critical compliance and reporting decisions. You’ll be trusted, supported, and encouraged to innovate because your ideas will help shape how the Data Services division evolves.

  • Working with large, often messy datasets (sometimes millions of data points)  extracting, collating and uploading onto portals
  • Using advanced Excel to structure data, calculate averages, validate accuracy, and spot inconsistencies
  • Generating compliance submissions that meet legislative requirements
  • Maintaining high-quality client databases that are complete, secure, and audit-ready
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with your team and suppliers, and sending out templates
  • Explaining variances, risks, and commercial impact clearly to the wider team
  • Spotting opportunities for additional reporting, extended contracts, or wider services
  • Producing forecasting, carbon efficiency, material handling, and legislative reports
  • Maintaining dashboards in Google Data Studio
  • Keeping internal systems, training records, manuals, and risk registers in order
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal governance throughout

This role could suit a graduate with some relevant experience, someone early in their career with strong analytical and communication skills, or a seasoned Data Administrator looking for their next challenge. Either way, you’ll thrive here if you are:

  • Highly analytical, with advanced Excel skills
  • Detail obsessed, for you, accuracy really is everything
  • A clear communicator who can make complex data make sense
  • Organised and disciplined, comfortable juggling shifting priorities
  • Curious, coachable, and always looking for a better way to work
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to make logical calls and spot risks before they land
  • Power BI experience is a bonus, but not essential

  • £30,000 base salary
  • Quarterly company bonus (after one year)
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the Brighton office, 2 from home
  • 22 days holiday, plus an extra day per year of service (up to 5), and further holiday through company initiatives
  • Regular coaching, development, and real progression opportunities
  • A genuinely supportive, people-led culture where innovation is welcomed and wellbeing is prioritised
  • Company events, company pension, and free on-site parking
  • The chance to grow within a fast-scaling, innovative business that cares about its people, its clients, and its impact
