GoGecko is working in Partnership with Clarity Environmental to find a Trading Manager to join the team.

Clarity is looking for an experienced and proactive Trading Manager who has excellent business development and relationship management skills with the ability to identify new opportunities and help grow the business. And who is looking for a people led business to grow and develop into a leadership role.

  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of potential new suppliers to trade with through prospecting and other lead generation activities
  • Connecting with prospects and building relationships through multiple communication channels
  • Attending online meetings and face to face onsite meetings
  • Seeking out contract opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop proposals that meet the client and the business requirements
  • Analysing pricing and market trends to ensure pricing remains profitable and competitive
  • Consultative process to uncover needs and potential opportunities for the business
  • Confidently representing the company voice and reputation
  • Reporting and analysing data to ensure performance goals are met
  • Providing mentoring, coaching and feedback to guide and upskill team members as required
  • Updating records and other documentation regularly and compliantly
  • Identifying, documenting and reporting risk
  • The role includes travel to the Midlands and North of the UK. A Tesla pool car will be at your disposal for business travel

  • You will be tenacious with proven experience in Business Development
  • A natural closer with the ability to make commercial decisions
  • You will be target driven with a consultative style and hunger to bring on new business
  • An understanding of the sales process and how to build effective funnels is essential
  • You will be able to build rapport quickly
  • Able to plan, prioritise and problem solve
  • Previous team management experience or the desire to step into a leadership role with coaching and development
  • Experience of recycling and or the waste industry is highly desirable
